Leadership
FNUBP is led by a small team with decades of renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, utility, finance, and First Nations negotiation experience.
Bill Payne, B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering, MBA
Bill has over 30 years of experience in renewable energy development, including hydro, wind, and pumped storage projects across western Canada. He has extensive experience working directly with First Nations on clean energy projects.
Mike Wise, PEng, MBA, FEC
Mike has 25 years of experience in the electricity sector, including renewable energy project development, construction, maintenance, siting, environmental assessment, engineering, financing, and project operations.
Allen has 45 years of experience negotiating agreements for resource and energy projects in western Canada, with deep experience in Indigenous policy, project agreements, clean energy participation, and community development.
